MYMP - The Acoustic Collection

M.Y.M.P. (or MYMP, short for Make Your Mama Proud) is an acoustic band act from the Philippines, which consists of five members. Their career started when Raymond Ryan, a station manager of iFm watched one of their gigs, and met up with a producer to produce their 2003 debut album, Soulful Acoustic, which has since been certified Platinum.

In 2005, M.Y.M.P. released their second album titled Beyond Acoustic and third album Versions through Ivory Music. The success of the two albums prompted the re-release of their second and third albums in a 2-disc set the same year. In 2006, they released their fourth album, New Horizon, and DVD of their concert in the Music Museum. In 2008, M.Y.M.P. released their last album on Ivory Music, titled Now, as the group signed a deal with Star Records.

SABRINA - I Love Acoustic (DELUXE EDITION)

SABRINA born Roli Alexandra "Xanxan" Orial in Laguna on December 30, 1989. She is the youngest of 3 siblings. She studied BA Communication Arts at University of the Philippines, Los Baños, Laguna

Her I Love Acoustic album went gold in the Philippines, and also in other countries including Indonesia and Thailand.

SABRINA - I Love Acoustic Too

The current acoustic act upsurge may largely be credited to the success of MCA Music act Sabrina, especially after her debut album “I Love Acoustic” achieved gold status here and abroad, particularly in countries like Indonesia and Thailand. After her, other Filipina lady singers joined the acoustic trip and the bandwagon was ensured.

With her recording triumph, the lovely voiced artist goes up the ladder with a follow-up to her best-selling album, wittily calling her new offering “I Love Acoustic Too” The album features acoustic renditions of hits like “Ms. Brightside” “Bleeding Love” “Insomnia” and “Because of You” the CD’s carrier single.

Just a month after its release, Sabrina’s new album has climbed to the top of retail charts in the country. Major record bars like Music One already certified it as a hit-selling purchase, making it truly deserving as sequel to its predecessor which also topped the OPM Bestsellers of big chain store like Odyssey Music and Video.
